The “Stakeholder Meeting ControlInRoad” workshop organized by the ControlInroad project and funded by Call 2016 “Biodiversity – Conflicts along the Road: Invasive Species and Biodiversity” of the CEDR (Conference of European Directors of Roads) took place on November 28th under the theme “Control invasive exotic flora species in linear infrastructures”. LIFE LINES, at the invitation of the event organizer, was represented by collaborator Mariana Fernandes, who had the opportunity to present some aspects of the project through oral communication. This workshop aimed to explore the problem of invasive alien species along linear infrastructures, particularly along roads, as well as the development and application of new methodologies for control / management of these species and their adaptation for use in the surrounding of linear infrastructure areas.
