1st Prize in the Environment & Ecology category was the result of the participation of the documentary “LIFE LINES – ARCHITECTURE FOR WILDLIFE” in the fifteenth edition of the International Film and Tourism Festival – Art&TuR[CS1] which took place this year in Ourém, between the 26th and 29th of October.
The documentary “LIFE LINES – ARCHITECTURE FOR WILDLIFE” demonstrate us the efforts to promote and recover biodiversity developed by a bold project, entitled LIFE LINES, which aimed to minimize the ecological impacts of roads and power lines on wildlife. With this documentary, we will travel through one of the regions of the Alentejo with the greatest biological diversity, located between Montemor-o-Novo and Évora.
Produced by PLAYSOLUTIONS AUDIOVISUALS, this piece was created in the framework of the LIFE LINES project – Linear Infrastructure Networks with Ecological Solutions (LIFE14NAT/PT/001081), project coordinated by the Universidade of Évora, involving the following partners: Universidade de Aveiro, Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, Municipalities of Évora and Montemor-o-Novo, Infraestruturas de Portugal S.A., MARCA – Associação de Desenvolvimento Local, and QUERCUS. LIFE LINES is also in close collaboration with Guarda Nacional Republicana, REN – Redes Energéticas Nacionais SGPS S.A. and E-REDES.
