In the context of the 25th anniversary celebration of the LIFE program and the Habitats Directive promoted by the European Commission, the project LIFE LINES held a seminar called “25 years of LIFE projects in South of Portugal.”. This event took place on the premises of the University of Évora on 26 May. The LIFE Natura & Biodiversity projects carried out in the South of Portugal during the last 25 years were disseminated. In the morning a summary of some of the projects developed in the South of Portugal in recent years were present by the respective coordinators / technical team. In the afternoon a visit was made to the Ecopista de Évora in the framework of the LIFE LINES project to control invasive alien plants. Finally, in the evening, a journey through the Serra de Monfurado called “Night walk: the acoustic environments in Monfurado site”.
