2016-12-28At 12th of November, the IP “Infraestruturas de Portugal” in collaboration with MARCA ADL celebrated the “Acorn National Day”. This action involved the collaborators and their families to pick acorns in the field. The acorns of cork and holm oaks where then delivered to the nursery plant of MARCA ADL to future planting of trees in areas to be recovered in the scope of LIFE LINES project. This and other actions of LIFE LINES project contribute to the development of a Green Infrastructure in the area of intervention of this project.
In line with this objective, this action intended to involve the IP collaborators and their families in a perspective of active and voluntary participation in conservation issues, including the young generations, and awareness to the importance of this actions.
