Flora and Vegetation team of the University of Évora has already initiated the germination trials in greenhouse of the seeds collected previously in the project area. Some species, such as hairy spiny broom (Calicotome villosa), pink rockrose (Cistus crispus), common broom (Cytisus scoparius), myrtle (Myrtus communis) and mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus) have already germinated and are at different stages of development.
