Data about abundance, distribution and road-kills will be available in an increasing detail along the duration of the project. At the moment we are publishing preliminary data at the class level for road-kills locations.

Technical notes:

During the LIFE LINES project a SDI (Spatial Data Infrastructure) will be built centralizing the data gathered and created by the team. The data will be stored in a RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) and published using the standard protocols (WMS, WFS, WCS and CSW) and formats as defined by the OGC (OpenGeoSpatialConsortium) following the "National laws for digital interoperability". The project will rely heavily on Open Source GIS software.
